My first blog

Yay, I am blogging for the first time, how fantastical. Well anyways, my name is Robert Matthew Rawson, I am a nineteen year old Mormon boy from Salt Lake City, Utah, United States, North America, Earth, Solar System, Milky Way, Somewhere in the Universe. I am currently a student at the University of Utah as a Chemistry Bachelor of Science Major/ Mathematics Minor. I work for a company called Datachem Laboratories Inc. as a laboratory technician, where I prepare test samples for analysis of tranistion metals using various forms of photo mass spectrometry. Now that we're past the general introductions and really boring stuff about my career (I think that it's pretty awesome, but hey) on to some other stuff.

Well, anyways, I am a Mormon, and am currently working on my mission papers to go on a church mission. I have very strong Mormon beliefs and such and such, if you want to know more about that, locate your local missionary.

Well, so, on to my rather drab social life, in quick summary, I don't really have one. I have friends, but they are few and very sparse in number. Anyways my closest friends are: Derek William Jensen, Nathan Charles Cunningham, and Don Hyrum Smith Harsh. I have other friends, but they are away in school for the most part, and it is difficult to keep in touch: Benjamin Axel Berlin, Brian John Selck, Felipe Navarro, and Wyatt Horne. All of my friends are great and I owe them a great deal.

As of late, I have lost a lot of faith in my church and in my religion, but thanks to certain events and certain people, I have rediscovered my faith and am growing back to the church that I converted to almost six years ago. I would like to take a minute to recognize the two individuals responsible for me regaining my faith and regaining my identity as an individual and as a person: Nathan Charles Cunningham and Don Hyrum Smith Harsh. Because of their fellowship I have regained my ability to be who I am and not what other people would wish to see me as. I can be me at last and not a lie, and to them I raise my glass, figurativly, to them. Thank you for this wonderful gift that has renewed me.

Also, I would like to thank my parents and family that have stood by me so steadfastly over all these many years that I have been alive and for supporting me in all my endeavors and all that I choose to do with my life and giving me the oppurtunity at life and everything that I have. Thank you.

Now that I'm done sucking up to people, all in an effort to gain kudos, let's move on to the ending, because I'm bored of writing. So, THE END for today at least.

Kudos! ;-D

Seriously, though, I'm glad that I've been of service to you. It means a lot to me to see you "recovering," so to speak. You've got a great future ahead of you; just push forward with all your strength. And if you need help along the way, you know where to find me. :-)

And I'm very pleased that you now have a blog! You will find that this blogging business becomes strangely addictive (at least, it has for me!). I've added you to the links on my blog; keep on writing!
