And as for my mother, as this is the primary cause of this very angry blog, my church does fellowship people more than any other religion I have ever seen. Imagine if you had went to Judge Memorial Catholic School, I have met people there, and I have been taught by one of their teachers and they are very discerning if you are not Catholic. Just because you have never been fellowshiped before in any Church, does not mean that the people do not want to meet you. They probably picked up that you didn't want to be fellowshipped and so didn't bother to try and talk to you. You probably put off an air that meant that they didn't want to associate with. I know that I am right because all people will bias that, and purposely set themselves up not to be fellowshipped, and besides, Sacrament meeting is not the social part of Church, that part comes later, Sacrament is meant to be a sacred time in calm worship of the Lord, in peaceful retrospect, not some lunatic "praise Jesus" ectasy fest. Good hell. And just because some Bishop wouldn't let his daughter play with you because you're not Mormon, is not the way all LDS people are. Never in my life have I ever heard that taught in Church, or met some lunatic that has ever done something like that. Oh, and just because I live in a different generation doesn't mean I don't know about it. I am not ignorant of the past and blaming present bias and being close-minded about "How I don't know because its different now" is bull crap. You whining people complain enough about it that how can I not know? Seriously, mom, you are the most close-minded person I know, you will not ever listen to my opinion, and the non-LDS friends that you have and you are unwilling to ever listen to our story means that you will not ever know what it is like to be LDS, because you are unwilling to put yourself in our shoes and look at our religion from our standpoint. If we're so bad, why is our religion the fastest growing religion in the world? It sure doesn't make sense that we must be ignorant of the outside world.
And you don't know what it is like to have non-LDS friends, never in my life have I ever been able to maintain a strong relationship with someone who is not LDS. They have all turned on me and betrayed me. Hmmm, sounds a lot like you and the people that you know that are LDS, only that I reached out to people of other faiths, except that you don't have a single close friend that is Strong LDS do you? Take that into consideration. You are no different than the people on the East Coast that think we all have horns. Perhaps you need to stop reading all those dumb books that are written by bias people THAT HATE THE CHURCH, and read something that is positive about the Church. People don't fellowship you, because you don't fellowship them. You didn't make an outreach, so why should they, I wouldn't do it. If you act like you don't want people to come around and fellowship you, THEY ARE NOT GOING TO DO IT EITHER! DUH!
I have had to struggle all my life with you trying to accept something that I believe in. Something that when I joined was identical to my moral set of values, like don't drink, don't smoke, don't swear, be kind and courteous to your fellow man, for god's sake, what is so wrong with that. The idea of God only gives it some purpose to do those things, and further motivates people to do that good. And our Church is more helpful to everyone else outside of the ring than anyone else, yet people still hate us for it. Nobody ever helps out the Mormons, yet look at all the help that we give out to other people, and I have never heard of anyone trying to help the Mormons. It's like the rest of the world and the United States, in fact it's identical to that, we can give all the help in the world, but people still hate us for it, because you know what, those people in the end are jealous. Jealous of what the others have, that they have enought that they can share it, that they are happy, that their way of life the jealous person sees as better than theirs and they think that they can't have it, so they get mad instead and hate them for it. And grow bias and won't listen to the other side of the story. Mom, you are one of those jealous people. You have no reason to hate our religion or any grounds to defame it, you seek out things that hurt the LDS Faith, because you want to see it hurt, so that you can satisfy your own self. And I know that is true, because there is no other explanation for this hatred.
To my mom, if you read this, don't even think about trying to talk to me about, unless you are willing to listen to me, because I will not listen to you, I am sick of sitting, trying to have a good conversation, only to feel like in the end that I didn't get to say my piece. I won't do that, because I hate arguing, but I am not afraid to stand up for what I believe in, I just don't want conflict, but I don't know how much longer I can hold this in. I am sick of always feeling that I am wrong and that I don't know anything, because I do know things, and a lot more than most people.
To all you people out there other than my mother, just be patient and you'll get to read some more interesting stuff tomorrow, I just needed to blow off some steam, and a lot of it as you can see, but here is a picture of a cute puppy.

That's the beautiful thing about having a blog. It's your own place, your own soapbox; you can say what you want, when you want. I can't tell you how many times my blog has been a venting place. It's healthy, and I'm glad you were able to get this out. :-)
In other news, that is one adorable puppy.
